Silliness

I love taking pictures of my kids doing something cute, especially when they don't even know they are being cute.

Becca is the silliest little thing. She pulled her socks up high and then refused to wear pants, because she had Long socks on. So, this was how she tramps around the house all night.

She is also saying ALOT right now. Pretty much every time you say something, she repeats it. That means even the stuff you don't want her to repeat. Seeing as I only use certain words for stressful moments, it's kinda funny when she says it and it sorta takes the stress away. So, it's a double edged sword at times.

The other hilarious thing is she has started calling her Dad by name. Twavis, Daddy Twavis and sometimes just Twav will do. She hears me calling her Dad that so I suppose I'm going to become Babe pretty soon.

Jillian is getting sweeter, cuter, funnier and just all out practically perfect. I love this little baby and I don't want her to grow any more. She has her little bottom teeth now. I remember this happening with Becca and I was so excited and ready to move to the next step with her. This time, I want to hold onto this time as much as possible. Jilly LOVES her sister too. Man, Becca can get this kid to giggle like no other, then, it turns into a giggle factory that is so contagious you can't help but giggle too.

Peas and Carrots, that's what they are.

What the Heck.

I don't want to get all political on you, but, there is this new Housing Inicitive that came out with Obama's new Stimulus Plan. Ohhh, maybe, just maybe it will be something that we can look at. Maybe, just maybe it will be something that can help us in talking to the banks. So, I'm holding my breath and hoping!

I'm trying to be optimistic, can you see it!

(So now i've read it.....)

Are you kidding me!!!!! Is someone trying to pull a big ol APRIL FOOLS a month early. Where's the "just kidding folks", here is the real deal. You mean that is the real deal? GAH! Rotten is all I have to say cause this is a kid friendly blog. Rotten, rotten, ro-ha-te-hen.

Yeah, that's what I think about that.
Start over, redo.

Hurting Heart

So I was doing a little browsing around in some of my favorite blogs this afternoon and I came across this beautiful little family in Kansas that just lost their stunningly gorgeous little girl of only 11 months old named Cora. She was the light of their lives and the suddenness of their loss just ripped at my heart. I couldn't help but cry for them and think about what they must be going through.

I have since found several different little shops that are doing wonderful fundraisers to benefit a playground in her name. Like this one------->POKE and pretty little Lucite gems from this little gal. Or, you can just add this button to your blog and keep up with all the fun frillies to buy on ESTY that will make donations to Cora's Fund.

Go hug the people that you love. I know I will.

Hugs!!!!!!!

I'm There, and it sucks.

I am convinced that one of the top 5 reason's why being a parent is so tuff is because when your babies get sick, and I mean SICK, you feel totally helpless.

(you know those comercials where people are standing on a big red circle and talking about some big life changing moment and how "they are there")

I'm There! And I want to make it all better, or at least be the one who is sick and not them.

Today

Do you ever wish you had endless amounts of time to just Create? I do. I think about it all the time. Sometimes, in my busy life I have to stop and look at things that give me inspiration. While I might not get alot of creative time to my day, I certainly believe we have to feed our brains to keep those creative juices flowing. This is also a good idea when one needs to just wind down, or take their minds off of something. I have some favorites, and I keep adding to my lists all the time, but, since I have nothing better to day today, indulge, it's fun.....

Like this little gem of a blog. I might not have time to make her recipes or take photographs like she does, but MAN she gets me thinkin. I think that in another life, I would have been born and raised on a farm, and lived my life, with as many girly twists as possible, just like she is now. In fact, I'd be tempted to have a big Pink Barn. I mean, why not, Right!

I also love spending time clicking through the best little shops on the net like this one, this one, and even this one. These ladies have all kinds of fun little fancies that make my heart sing and my hands itch to make somthin cute.

And then there are the days when you surely need someone to make you laugh, and this is my all time favorite. This girl has me in stitches, seriously.

It gets me through the day. Ya know what I mean.

This year so far

Gosh, It's already the second to the last week of January. 2009 is well underway and I haven't done jack on my blog. I swear, why is that? I guess you could say that things have been a little crazed since we rung in the New Year!

Moving forward as we should say, here are some important Highlights worth mentioning.

1. Becca and Jillian, much to Grandma's dismay, have started going to a daycare part time. Lets face it, two kids at that age are a hand full and even the best Grandma's need a little break, so, Thursday's and Friday's the girls are off to Lisette's for a day of fun. Now, let me just say that a particular mother was a nervous wreck the week beforehand. Why you ask? Well, for those of you that have never met Becca, she is me all wrapped up in one. And, we fret change. Change of any kind! So, me, being the assertive mother I am, was worried sick about the first day. Well, it has begun. Becca had proved me wrong and taken on Day Care like it's an old favorite toy. I mean, Holly Heck, she doesn't want to leave she is having so much fun. THANK GOD! (She woke up this morning asking to go, HELLO)

2. More on Becca, she turned 2! She is sooooooo grown up that it breaks me heart at times. It's flying by people, so just hang on!

3. Jillian is growing like a stink weed. She is a whopping 19lbs 5oz and 28 inches long. She perfectly perfect in every way! Not to mention, she has just about the sweetest dimples on the planet!

4. Auntie Sheshe inches that much closer to 30 turning 29 over the weekend. Becca had fun unwrapping presents for her.

5. All this birthday cake is sabotaging my diet! Damm.

6. Some of our dearest friends have lost loved ones in 2009. So it's already been a year of healing and support.

7. We have a new pres. Who knows what that means. (Sorry for my scepticism on that one).

8. Travis and I still have jobs, and that's saying alot right now!

Overall, this is going to be a year with lots of changes and while it's nerve raking to me, I'm going to try and take them head on like Becca did. I mean really, it's not all that bad when you have what's really important. So, enjoy the Simple Pleasures. It's what I'm going to do.

We had spirit....

But they just didn't show up for the game. Our Bronco's came as the Donkey's last weekend, but we still love our orange and blue anyways.

We hope you all had a wonderful New Years Eve. Ours was a little messy with both of the girls getting the stomach flu at about 10pm. We hadn't intended on staying up till midnight, but I think we pulled off a longer night that most partiers, going to bed at a very early 4am in the morning.

We are on the road to recovery though, and gearing up for getting back to work and normal and birthday's galore.

LOVE and Hugs to all in 2009!
