Christmas Goodies

Yummy Sugar Scrubs are the best when your skin is all dry from winter weather, so here's my twist that makes for sweet treats and NO GUILT!

Take some brown sugar, white sugar, a few teaspoons of spice and a little essential oil with some olive oil and VIOLA! You have have a Sweet & Spicy Sugar Rub that your body will love.

Add some cute ribbon, and little holiday trim and you are all set.

For added cuteness, I included a fancy red scrubby thingy with mine!

Parades, Cookies and Rain

This weekend was eventful. We decided to dodge the rain drops and head off to the Escondido Christmas Parade. This would be the first time i've gone to this parade and the first christmasy thing we did outside of stuff at home.
The girls were troopers and loved the princesses in the sports cars (aka, Miss Escondido....=) The Marching Bands had Jillian and Jackson enthralled, but Becca spent most of her time with her ears covered. Then the rain really started coming down, so we scooted a little early. That will probably be what Becca remembers the most, getting wet at the parade!
Once we warmed up, we decided that cookies sounded good. Becca loves, loves, loves to help in the Kitchen. "Mommy, what you doing?" She is always asking me. "I help!" as she pulls her little chair up to the counter. So far, we haven't had any real messes, she is a very careful 2 year old! Oh, and the before mentioned skirts that I made. They are so stinking cute on the girls. If I had enough, they would wear skirts and leggings everyday.
After the storm blew over, we got outside for a little fresh air. Jillian was just so thankful! It was a good weekend!

It's that time of year.

Ohh the Christmas Holiday, I love it so much, I'm so glad your here. We are in full swing around here.

I've been very busy getting things ready, shopping, cooking and just trying to be a patient Mom. The tree is up, the kitchen is all chirstmasy and my shopping is almost done. It feels like things are peddle to the metal once Thanksgiving is over. You have to stop and make yourself enjoy the fact that it's Christmas time! The girls have been enjoying the decorations. In fact, Becca has been a big helper with the tree this year. She has done a fantastic job of putting on the candy canes in all the right places. She even yanked a few for her little pink tree without my noticing. She is defiantly my little girl!
I made these cute little skirts for the girls. Trying to break in the new sewing machine.
Pictures with them wearing these darlings, soon to come......
My Christmas wish list is just too long. There are so many wonderful goodies out there right now. I would like one of everything, thank you. I got this cute banner from this gal's fun little shop, and just hung it under this old window I has in my garage. Pretty fun and homey I think.
And I love all my red & white in the kitchen, lots of fun too. I just hung an old tablecloth above the window, I think I might actually officially sew that into a curtain.

And my house hasn't has the Christmas village up in awhile, I thought it was time to bring it out again. I love Dept. 56.
