Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day Weekend was a good time with the girls. Becca had a blast at the beach & in her frog pool. It was a little too hot to do anything else. Uncle Geno and Aunt Alicia had a good time hanging out with us too. We love spending time with them. Jillian even sported her new little swimsuit, yeah, it never really saw the ocean water, but she was certainly a bathing beauty.

It's a Baby Shower

A few weeks ago we had a Bouncing Baby Boy Shower for Alicia. Jackson is going to be here in a few short weeks, but there is something about having a shower that makes it feel REAL! She is such a cute Momma, and so proud to be having the first Boy. I'm sure he will play every sport imaginable. The Kid better like to play with balls!=)

We Miss You

Two years ago today, We lost Travis's Mom, and it still has not hit us that she is not here. It's hard to imagine that she will not see her beautiful Grand Babies and that they will never know their Grannie. Becca has her spunk and big beautiful eyes. Jillian will no doubt have a wonderful trait that reminds us of Becky as well. Both girls would have their Grannies heart in their sweet little hands. She would just adore them. Becky was an amazing woman in so many ways.

I love you and miss you more than you know.

Where were you?

It's hard to believe that today is September 11, 2008. It feels in some ways like just yesterday I woke up at my parents house in Escondido, crawled into my Mom's bed and turned on the TV to see the second plane flying into the Tower, hardly believing my eyes. Seconds later, my phone rings and Travis is telling me he won't be home for a few days, they are on Red Alert, and you could hear the alarm in his usually calm voice. I remember how desolate the streets were as I drove to meet Leslie at Crabtree. We made Christmas baskets that day, the mall was closed down, and we needed to keep our minds busy. We worked in silence as we listened to the radio reports. A few hours into it, we went home to our families and prayed.

I'm Three Months!!!

I"m Three Months. I weigh 14 pounds and I've the best chubby baby legs and sweet little cheeks!

This is a long one

This last week had been a blur. I went back to the grind. Which ain't so bad considering I get to see many of my friends at work, not to mention, I get to exercise this old brain of mine. That is one great thing about working out of the home, as busy as it makes you, it helps to sharpen my brain, which at times feels like it's turning to mush, much like the rest of my body=)

Anywho, the first week was actually really great! The girls did well with Grandma and Grandma enjoyed being with them. It's hard not to have fun, they are the worlds best kids!

We also had a baby shower to get ready for in all the hustle and bustle. So, when I wasn't at work, or feeding a baby, I was making these little gems. They look like pacifiers, right!

Which then finished off these little gems.

Pretty cute, right! They were fun to make, plus, I was making them for Alicia's shower, and I'm a person that loves the little details at events like this. So.....I couldn't help myself. I also managed to put together a 12X12 scrapbook for her. All she has to do is plop the pictures in. I supply the creativity, she supplies the pictures and poof..........home-made wonderfulness.

My jelly beans are growing up so much. I love them more every day. Just when I think I can't love them more, guess what? I LOVE them more!

I'm loving Jillian's chubby legs. Becca still had chicken legs at this point. Jilly certainly does not! She also has the sweetest smile, all cheeky and dimply.

Becca is soooo funny. She is a ham. She thinks that tooting is funny, because it is! She loves helping me around the house and she's good at it! She can put things in her drawers, carry laundry where ever I need it, sweep, swiffer and make dinner! Okay, just kidding, but she would if she could.
